Dinnertwine is a platform to organize dinner groups and a framework of standards and protocol for managing them. These standards keep things fair and balanced. The method of posting and signing up for events allows hosts to create beautiful dinner parties, without all of the time and cost of food preparation.

The days when neighbors popped by with piping fresh goodies or sparked an impromptu over-the-fence conversation are fading quickly. In spite of all of the social connection available online, people are more isolated than ever before, and the need for relationship is as great as it has ever been.
Dinnertwine provides a solution for this, making the organization of dinner groups simple, fair and affordable. One person hosts. Everyone else brings the food.

APPETIZERS

Appetizers should be light snack food just before the meal is served. They should coordinate with the host’s theme. For example, if the host’s theme is taco night, they might provide chips and guacamole.

MEAT
3 people sign up to bring meat for 4 people
The entree should be organized according to the host’s theme. For example, if the theme is taco night, then one person brings ground beef taco meat and another chicken, and another strips of cooked beef.

SALAD AND BREAD

A nice variety of super fresh ingredients as well as a good salad dressing are the key to making a great salad. Bread, fresh from the bakery makes a nice addition to the dinner menu.

VEGETABLE

Any vegetable that is not a starch would be suitable for this sign up. Challenge yourself to create a tasty vegetable that goes well with the host’s theme for the evening.

STARCH

A starch would include rice, pasta, white potatoes, or sweet potatoes. If the them is tacos, the starch should be rice. If the evening is something more formal then perhaps twice baked potatoes or a sweet potato casserole would be nice.

The final ingredient to a lovely evening is a delicious dessert. Perhaps one person could bring a healthy option such as fruit and whip cream and another could bring something to indulge in, such as cheesecake.
